PHR Certification Requirements

               Professional Human Resources certification (PHR Certification) is issued by HRCI, PHR Certification is best way for HR professional to prove their skills in BOK. According to payscale.com the certified HR professional have better pay compare to non-certified professional. To obtain PHR Certification the HR professional should undergo the PHR certification exam conducted by HRCI. The exam consist of 175 multiple choice question to be written in 3 hours in which 25 question are pre-test. In order to write the exam HR professional should meet the minimum eligibility requirements.

PHR EXAM DATES

The PHR exam is conducted twice in each year as follows

1st December to January last (winter)

1st may to June last (spring)

PHR Certification requirements are as follows

Master degree with one year minimum experience in a professional HR category.   

                                                   OR

Bachelor degree with 2 years minimum experience in a professional HR category.  

                                                   OR

Higher diploma with 4 years minimum experience in a professional HR category.

 Professional HR 

    According to HRCI candidates should posses the following includes in workplace are consider to have Professional HR level experience .

The ability to act and perform according to his own judgment in work.

Should posses authority for decision-making

Knowledge in data gathering, analysis and understanding the work in depth

comunicating with person at multiple levels in the organization from down to up.

Individually responsible for results. 

the individuals who have the professional level HR experience are eligible to sit for phr certification exam.
