Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Certification or Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Certification
After the release of the Microsoft SQL Server 2014, there have been constant rumors and news in the industry about update to Microsoft SQL Server certification which is based on Microsoft SQL Server 2012. The last update about SQL Server certification was in 2014 and with the Microsoft SQL Server 2016 soon releasing there are new rumors about Microsoft updating the entire suite of SQL Server certification for Microsoft SQL Server 2016 for both MCSA and MCSE expert level certification.
Microsoft is only offering certification in SQL Server 2012 for the MCSA SQL Server and associated exams (461/462/463) and there has not been any update for these certification based on Microsoft SQL Server 2014. Microsoft did update the MCSE Expert level certifications for the Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and the reason provided for only updating the MCSE Expert level certification is since most of the new features of the 2014 SQL Server is focused on performance tuning and high availability it makes sense to update the Microsoft SQL Certification MCSE Expert level certification and there has been little change in Microsoft SQL Server 2014 pertaining to MCSA Certification Content.
Our assumption is that Microsoft will update all levels of certification both MCSE and MCSA levels for Microsoft SQL Server after the release of 2016 version. Also we believe exam numbers will remain the same, only the version of server will be changed to 2016
Exam 70-410 b>Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 will be Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2016
Exam 70-411: b>Administering Windows Server 2012 will be Administering Windows Server 2016
Exam 70-464: Developing Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Databases and so on.
We also believe me will hear about this sometime before mid 2016 from Microsoft.
